Olivia Sledzik, LMHCA
Olivia specializes in helping individuals navigate the lasting impact of childhood wounds and emotionally immature family dynamics, supporting clients in building healthier relationships with themselves and others. Her work focuses on challenges such as self-esteem, OCD (particularly mental compulsions and rumination), life transitions, relationship and attachment concerns, as well as experiences related to pregnancy and the postpartum period. She also help clients process difficult emotions including shame, guilt, and anger, fostering greater emotional awareness and regulation.
Her approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also incorporates psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives to explore how early experiences shape present patterns, alongside a socioeconomic lens that acknowledges the broader systems impacting mental health. Through this comprehensive approach, she aims to help clients deepen insight, break unhelpful cycles, and move toward meaningful, values-driven change.
Olivia received her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson and Wales in 2022 and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Hood College in Frederick, MD.
Olivia currently sees clients in person at our Jefferson Blvd. location and telehealth.
Olivia can see individuals with BCBS, NHP, United, Optum, Harvard, TUFTS, Medicare, Medicaid and Aetna insurance plans or at a sliding scale fee.
