Kelsey Gamble, LCSW
I received my BSW from Rhode Island College and MSW from Simmons University. I am currently licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. My passion and experience is working with teens and adults to find mental health stability and inner peace. I have been working in the field as a therapist for the last four years, but started working in community mental health with adults with chronic mental illness in 2015.
I believe everyone can benefit from therapy as it is a great opportunity for inner growth, can help heal current emotional wounds, and helps foster healthy relationship building for you in the future. My approach with clients is primarily psychodynamic based with CBT and DBT methods. I provide a relaxed atmosphere where clients feel they can be their most authentic selves and, as a result, can discuss trauma and insecurities in a space that feels comfortable and safe.
My practice focuses a great deal on healing from trauma and building self-esteem and confidence as an individual. I help clients gain awareness of the confidence and strength they possess, but may not yet see in themselves. My goal is to help you build communication skills, and independence, gain emotional regulation skills, and learn boundary setting amongst other important life skills.
I look forward to the opportunity of helping you on your journey.
