Gina Baldassare, LMHC

I am licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I am also licensed to offer telehealth services to clients located in Florida.

My experience revolves around working with clients aged 16 to 45, and I’m especially passionate about supporting those navigating various forms of anxiety, panic disorders, complex trauma, as well as relationship challenges, complicated family dynamics and managing young adult life transitions and milestones. I also offer guidance for individuals managing everyday life stressors and broader emotional challenges.

My approach blends person-centered techniques, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed understanding, and elements of carefully paced exposure therapy. I love to assist clients in the development of personalized skills that empower them to face fears and discomfort with confidence.

Creating a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I believe that healing begins with feeling seen and heard, and I strive to build a safe space where clients can explore their experiences authentically without shame or fear.

My goal is to connect with each person in a way that feels meaningful and uniquely tailored to who they are.

Gina sees clients online via Telehealth and accepts BCBS, NHP, United, Student Resources, Aetna, Tufts Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and Harvard Pilgrim insurance plans as well as self pay.
