James Campagnone, LICSW
I currently work as a school social worker in Rhode Island as well as private practice. I have gained a majority of my clinical experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, grief, and relationship issues. I also specialize in social skill building.
Meeting with a new health professional can be quite overwhelming and challenging. I am here to make your therapeutic experience comfortable and assist you with improving your overall well being. I like to think of the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist as a tangled ball of yarn. As the client tells their story, the yarn begins to unravel and the therapist helps with the untangling.
I typically use Cognitive-Behavioral and Person-Centered approaches. However, I will modify my approach as needed to provide you with adequate quality of care.
