Nicole Millick, LMHC

I received my Master’s of Science. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. For the past 7+ years, I have gained a wide range of experience working with adults, children, and families providing home-based, school-based, and outpatient treatment. Before beginning therapy, my clients have often struggled with the impacts of trauma, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and depression.

My approach to treatment is to provide a safe, comforting environment where clients feel able to express themselves fully without fear of judgment. Through developing a partnership with each client, I support them creating the positive changes that they are seeking. I incorporate a range of therapy approaches in order to best meet the needs of each of my clients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness strategies, person-centered approach, art-based and play therapy techniques, and parenting coaching.

When working with children with emotional or behavioral difficulties, I find that working as a team with the child’s caregivers is essential. I provide parenting coaching and work collaboratively with the child’s primary caregivers regarding home and school concerns.

Nicole currently accepts BCBS, NHP, United, Student Resources, as well as self pay. She is located at our 200 Tollgate Rd. Unit 103, Warwick, RI 02886 location.
