Cassandra Aguiar, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with teens, young adults and couples, ages 15-40 with ADHD, parenting, anxiety, divorce, peer or family conflict, life transitions, and chronic illnesses with a specialty in Epilepsy. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toronto and specialized in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I went on to complete my Masters’ of Social Work at Rhode Island College.
While completing my Master’s I mentored college students on campus experiencing adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety, and general life stressors. I have experience providing psychoeducation to parents, grandparents, and guardians surrounding social media, technology, parental locks, and vaping.
My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll work at your pace to build confidence and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
