Raegan Parsons, PMHNP
Welcome! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over a decade of experience in mental health care. My background includes working with diverse populations, from children and adolescents to adults facing complex psychiatric conditions.
I began my career as a nurse in inpatient pediatric psychiatric units, specializing in neurodivergent populations. Additionally, I have extensive experience in acute drug and alcohol detox centers, where I helped manage co-occurring substance use disorders and psychiatric diagnoses. My work with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder has further deepened my expertise in integrated psychiatric care.
My clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based psychiatric treatment, combining medication management and psychotherapy to support individuals in achieving mental wellness. I completed my master’s training in an outpatient setting focused on complex mood disorders, allowing me to work with patients across all life stages, from pediatrics to older adults.
Currently, I am accepting clients in Connecticut and Rhode Island via telehealth, providing medication management and psychiatric care for individuals with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), NHP, United, Harvard Pilgrim, TUFTS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Aetna insurance plans insurance or self-pay options. My goal is to offer accessible, compassionate, and personalized mental health services that empower clients on their journey to well-being.
If you’re looking for medication management or psychiatric support in Connecticut or Rhode Island, I would be honored to work with you.
