Gina Baldassare, LMHC-A, MA, CGS

Following my first psychology class in high school, I knew I was set on pursuing a career helping others. I graduated with my BA from Bryant University, earning my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University shortly after.

I enjoy working with teens, adolescents, and early age adults. I have experience working with individuals living with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, and beyond. I am LGBTQ+ Allied and enjoy working with anyone that identifies within this population. I believe that each client knows themselves better than anyone else, and I want them to guide the session in the direction they chose to go in while I provide meaningful support and thoughtful insight.

I typically encompass a mix of CBT and PCT modalities into my work with clients. I work to identify personal strengths with clients and focus on feelings that arise in the moment. Together, we will work on identifying coping mechanisms, challenge negative thought patterns, and focus on your inner strength. Building a positive rapport with each client holds as one of the highest priorities of mine. It is a goal of mine to connect with each client in a personalized way.

I recognize that it can be nerve-wracking to reach out to a new therapist, whether it be the first time, or you have worked with someone in the past and not had the best experience. It is my goal to provide you with a comforting and nonjudgmental experience each time we connect. I will accept your authentic self, whoever that may be. If for any reason we are not a good fit, I want to help you find someone who is.

Gina sees clients virtually and accepts BCBS, NHP, United, and Student Resources.
