Are you looking for a safe space to talk and find guidance on your path to achieving goals and reaching emotional well-being? I hope to help with that! I graduated from Rhode Island College as an undergraduate in Psychology minoring in behavioral neuroscience and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Over the last 7 years I have worked in many settings including home and community based services with children with behavioral challenges, as well as autism and related diagnoses. After that, I moved on to a substance use clinic setting working with adults. After working in those fields, I decided to enter private practice where I could expand the populations I am working with.
Today, I work with adults facing any number of life challenges. This could be specific diagnoses such as mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety or phobias, trauma/PTSD, substance use, justice involved individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, alternative relationship styles, young adult life transitions, or any other life problems you may be facing.
My approach is very grounded in “meeting you where you’re at” and I find I adapt that not only to each client, but to what feels important for you to discuss during any session! If you choose to work with me, I will be using your input to practice different therapy techniques that work best for you at that time.
Chelsea currently accepts BCBS, NHP, United, and Tufts Commercial.
